Movie Night

You (and your friends and family) are invited to attend a movie night at our house on Saturday April 23rd at 5:00 PM.

Movie: Amreeka (96 minutes – 2009 PG-13)

Description: Eager to provide a better future for her son, Fadi (Melkar Muallem), divorcée Muna Farah (Nisreen Faour) leaves her Palestinian homeland and takes up residence in rural Illinois -- just in time to encounter the domestic repercussions of America's disastrous war in Iraq. Now, the duo must reinvent their lives with some help from Muna's sister, Raghda (Hiam Abbass), and brother-in-law, Nabeel (Yussuf Abu-Warda). Cherien Dabis writes and directs.

Please RSVP by April 20th.

It’s a potluck, so bring along something to share.

We look forward to seeing you then,

Armineh & John
